All samples are converted to 16/48 this is a deal breaker for me the first thing they had to address and they haven't done it drip feeding tech conspiracy.😫

Finally some good music on elektron's (it does happen but quite rarely, although of course this is totally subjective...?). But how come the name of the producer from the video isn't written in video nor in the video's description? Not even a # ?!?

funny that they take a snare and a kick that are not syncd. kick is slightly too slow compared to the snare, of course this is then evened through the loop, but anytime you here the kick and the snare it sounds slack. I'm not saying everything needs to be snapped on the grid, not at all, whatever if it helps, but listen... you can't want to do this...

B4 DAWs arrived I spent 3-4yrs with my band at the time, mastering the arts of phrase loop sampling & resampling with x2 Ensoniq ASR-X Pro samplers. They both had 68meg of stereo sampling memory & we learnt just how much u could do, with them & our hardware based studio too... With stereo sampling & up to 128meg of ram memory too by that era of sampling development. I learnt to get my ear for knowing when it was right to commit things as bounces of grouped track elements, into a sampled phrase loop & keep moving forward on material. Elektron have finally perfected the sampler/resampler that the ASR-X fell short on for getting the whole concept in one groovebox style box perfect. Don't know when yet but this is a must for me

If my home studio somehow magically disappeared, the Digitakt would be the first piece I'd get back (even before a laptop). I love it deeply, best gear I've ever had. And even though I have gearlust for the DT2, I feel that the DT1 is still immensely relevant these days, with the late updates (samples modes, song mode, keyboard, etc...).

We all know elektron is a lifestyle. You either elektron or akai (as far as hw sequencing/sampling goes). But what's really annoying is that they market it with home-footage, although elektron is most played live box out there. In every club, 90% live shows are powered by elektron. You should definitely show that these machines rip the bassbins like no other. Otherwise you want to appeal to home hobbyist market ? 😂 With new brand - sure! But why do it, when most people do marketing for you already? Once played on event, where I was the only one with MPC 😅 everyone else had elektrons.
